I hate the holidays, sorta

Ok, this is going to be short. The holidays sucked all of my time, which isn't the same as the holidays sucking all of the time. They actually weren't bad, but I had so much to do that I pretty much ran all the time. And I had a sore foot, so when I wasn't running I was sitting around with my foot up. I took some time off, but stayed busy that whole time, so it was no better than working. We did get some moving boxes cleared out of my studio, so strides made there.

Also, I did complete a couple of small artworks - 2 drawings and one painting; with another painting on paper in progress. I have to get a piece to Dallas for the faculty show; don't know when that is going to happen. I forgot to get it there before the end of last semester - a bit busy and distracted. I've been asked to do some outdoor scupture shows, but nothing is set in stone yet (hardee-har). Actually, I probably won't work in stone for these, as I am broke. So unless someone donates some stone or money, I'll come up with something else.

I'm spent some time working on my online class for a proposed summer session. That is not set yet, either. I do, however, have to have it ready in case it gets approved. And I have to get working on the materials for my mentoring session with the Artist Apprentice kids. I'm still not sure about that. I hope bamboo bends from warm or hot water, not just with a torch or heat gun. That has to be my next time segment.

Well, it sounds like some stuff is being brought in by artists, as this is installation week. So I better get back to it.
