So the canvas is still sitting there, untouched. It's not like I haven't had time - HA! I have gotten some productive stuff done - calling dr's offices, filing paperwork, etc. I did do some yardwork. The tree guys had made a HUGE pile of broken limbs and it was too big to be picked up by the brush trash guys, and it is under a large living tree so the big crane can't get it either. So J and I went out there and pulled big limbs off and trimmed them and cut the smaller ones up. I got a blister because I was too stupid to put on gloves. Despite that, no lymphodema.
I've been reading up on lymphodema and feel like I'll have some control over that and can resume more normal activities soon. I'll just have to be more careful - not one of my usual traits. I may make the boy finish trimming the limbs. He did some trimming so far, but he hates working, and I get tired of dealing with attitude, so sometimes it's not worth it.
It's snowing again here in Texas, but at least this time it's been warm enough that it's not sticking to the streets, so we should be in better shape. It was supposed to stop an hour ago - yeah, right. I'm going to light a fire, soon.
I will have to put one of my charcoal circles in the Biennial show. I have several done from the recent show that are already framed and ready to go. One of those will work. I can start on the canvas later. I don't need the extra stress right now.
