Going backwards?

I got an infection in my incision - mostly under my right armpit. I had a lot of redness, swelling, heat, a pounding headache and nausea, so now I'm on antibiotics. I do feel better today. This happens just as I was feeling better, doing more, and trying to psych myself up to going back to work. So I'm pretty depressed. I cried a couple of times when I was diagnosed, and a few times since, but yesterday and today I keep crying. I'm hoping it's just the infection and will fade as things get better. I definitely will be doing half days this first week or so of going back to work.

I have a short narrative to write for a TCA grant that is due the day I'm supposed to go back to work. I think I'll try to get it written this weekend, so that I can concentrate on other things when I do go. Plus, if i can't get in on Monday, it will still be done.

Have decided to put one of my charcoal circles from this recent show in the FWCAC Biennial. Only problem, they're still at the last venue, as we had snow the day my friend was supposed to pick them up. I gotta call him tomorrow so he can get them this next week, or I can make other arrangements.
